Arno was born and raised in The Netherlands and worked as an advertising executive and business owner until he moved to the US to go to College. He graduated at Brigham Young University (BYU), in Provo, Utah with a degree in Psychology and Business. After college he worked for the largest independent yellow page publishers in the country. There he continued his education in sales and marketing and consulted companies in person in cities as far apart as Anchorage Alaska to El Paso Texas, from Banff Canada to Morgan Hill California, and from Missoula Montana to St. George, Utah.
Arno says that “coming from Europe and seeing American business owners have the same dreams and challenges was an eye opener. This diversity helped me focus in on solutions”.
“Arno is a very talented and effective salesman. His enthusiasm is contagious! On many occasions, Arno was our “go to” guy who consistently got results”, is what his previous colleague described about him.
He may be too focused and workaholic, but he is a guy with great sense of humor and outgoing. During his spare time, he spends time reading books of all genres (he has a massive library). He loves to travel to his native Holland, and recently found a new passion for Asia, particularly the Philippines.
Among his many hobbies are flying (he is a private pilot), Scuba diving (he holds certifications in rescue diving, deep diving, and night diving), painting, motor biking ( he has a Harley Softail Deluxe), photography, Computer games and writing blogs. Taking his “best friend” Strider (White German Shepherd) for a walk is one of the many other things he loves to do. He is also an amateur herpetologist and has passion for tropical fish (at one time he had 50 fish tanks with almost 4000 gallons of water tastefully placed in his house).
Even though they are scattered all over the world, most of all he loves to spend time with his family and close friends.
